Lauv The Between Albums Tour

Last Monday, September 11, 2023, I attended the concert of Lauv at the Mall of Asia Arena. Alexander 23 was the front act of the show. It started at exactly 8:00 PM. Unlike the last concert that I watched at MOA Arena, I was early this time. If you want to know what happened then, you can read my blog here . ๐Ÿ˜„ Alexander's songs that night was perfect for a chill night. Some of the concert attendees that night just got off from work, so it's good to hear that kind of song. Perfect for relaxation and laid-back kind of vibe. His performance lasted for more or less than 30 minutes. During his last song, Lauv's face suddenly popped up on the screen. He was already backstage. He was making faces while Alexander was performing seriously. So we were laughing and we were screaming. Lauv came on stage after Alexander was finished with his last song. He thanked him for doing the front act then left the stage afterwards. I thought he would already start the concert.  The show proper s...

Westlife The Wild Dreams Tour

Last Monday February 20, 2023, for the second time, I got to watch my first loves again live in concert. Ever since I watched them performed live for the first time in 2019, I've been anticipating the day that I get to watch them again. I really waited for the announcement of their next concert since then.  I grew up listening to Westlife's songs. It's definitely the very first band that I loved. And my very first celebrity crush is Mark Feehily. The first song of them that I learned was 'Seasons In The Sun.' I think it's one of the first songs that I memorized without even trying. Because the song was repeatedly played in our house when I was young, I already memorized it. Then it was followed by 'My Love' then 'I Lay My Love On You,' and the list goes on and on and on. I didn't grow up listening to nursery rhymes.  Instead I grew up listening to Westlife's songs. And I am not complaining. ๐Ÿ˜† When I arrived at the venue, there were still...

Sat With Ree: How To Be A Good Leader

On Monday, May 9, we are going to cast our vote for our chosen candidates for the 2022 National Election. We are going decide who are going to be the next President, Vice President, Senators, Governor, Vice Governor, Mayor, Vice Mayor, City Councilors, Members of the House of Representatives (from district and party-list groups) and Members of provincial boards. Some have already decided who they're going to vote while some are still weighing things.  In choosing a good leader, what are your considerations? What are your deciding factors in choosing your candidate/s? For me a good leader is someone who has the credibility to to lead people. He/She should already have experience/s when it comes to leadership. He/She should be trustworthy and should be open to tell the public what we're suppose to know. No need to sugarcoat things. We deserve to know what is happening to the nation. To be a good leader, you must be willing to listen to the concerns of other people. You must be w...
