Sat With Ree: What If You Knew You're Dying

What if you knew when your last day here on earth will be? How are you going to spend your last remaining day? I would choose to spend my last day here on earth in the simplest way possible. I want to start my day without even thinking that it will be my last. I only want to savour every moment of the day.  I am not a morning person, but if I know that it would be my last day being alive I would be willing to rise up early, so that I could witness the sun rising. It's one of the things that I haven't done, yet. After watching the sun rose, I would go for a buffet breakfast. I'm going to have a scrumptious breakfast for one last time. I rarely experience having a good breakfast, though breakfast food is my absolute favorite.  I'm going to visit a church after that. Life moves in mysterious ways. In the blink of an eye anything could happen.  Life is full of unexpected occurrences—good and bad. The person you are laughing with today is probably gone by tomorrow. Without even saying your goodbyes, you will only be awaken with the bad news, that the person you had a good laugh with last night is already gone, for good. Then it will hit you, death is real. People die. You didn't even get the chance to tell them how much they mean to you, or how they created such a big impact in your life. Because who would've thought that the last time that you talked, will already be the last time. Especially when your last conversation didn't even give you any indication that it will be the last.  Death is an inevitable part of life. We all know that we will all die one day, but it always come as a surprise to us when someone we know dies. Especially if that someone is so dear to us. It feels like a part of us also dies.
